Clinicians may also explore nearby trail systems and take day trips to destinations such as the Amana Colonies and Palisades-Kepler State Park during time away from the assignment.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe neurologist will serve in a neurohospitalist capacity, providing on-site inpatient rounding during day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and fulfilling 12-hour night call responsibilities. Clinical duties include managing inpatient neurological conditions and conducting consultations for the adult inpatient population. The clinician will be supported by one nurse who rounds Monday through Thursday.
