Pharmacy TechnicianWe are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. The role involves filling prescriptions, preparing IVs, and entering data into the computer system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement. This position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under pharmacist supervision.Enter prescription and billing information into the pharmacy system.Assist with prepackaging and final checking of medications for dispensing, in accordance with standards and regulations.Coordinate accurate and timely medication delivery to customers.Support inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating medications and supplies.Maintain records for lot numbers and expiration dates.Assist with physical inventory counts.Help maintain a clean and safe pharmacy environment.Perform equipment cleaning, calibration, and safety checks as needed.Required QualificationsStrong attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required.Active Pharmacy Technician LicenseCompany OverviewThis employer is a provider of pharmacy services.
